There’s no mistaking the arrival of fall. Windy, cooler days, crisp apples at the grocer, and colorful leaves on the trees. Maybe you’ve recently returned from vacation, or your wallet just lost some weight while visiting those “Back to School” sales. If it hasn’t happened yet, your daily schedule is about to fill up fast.
When I’m on the go, I use a smartphone to keep my life organized. Sitting down at my desk, however, I prefer a printed calendar placed at arm’s reach. That way, even in the midst of multitasking, I can check my next appointment without lifting a finger.
For most of my business needs, I shop the sales at office supply stores, but for a simple, printed calendar I found another, budget-friendly solution. Print my own, for free. If you’re a Mac owner, this perk comes pre-installed and ready to work for you.
Here’s how to print your own wall or desk calendar:
1. Start up iCal on your Mac computer
2. Click File > Print
3. Specify the View, Paper size, which events to show each day (if any), and Time range you wish to print
4. Add or omit options like ‘mini months’ view, or color-coded ‘calendar keys’
5. Choose the text size for your calendar page(s)
6. Click Continue > Print
